2015 to July 2023           IVC Group Limited/ Unilin Flooring UK & Ireland Limited

Technical Manager, UK & Ireland. Unilin Flooring UK & Ireland Limited is part of Mohawk Industries, the World’s largest floorcovering manufacturing supplier.

Unilin have now integrated IVC Group into their business and have factories throughout the world, manufacturing sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), carpet tiles, laminate and engineered wood flooring. Brands include Quick Step, Pergo, Elka, Moduleo, Leoline, IVC Commercial.

2008 to Sept 2015          Heathfield (Midlands) Limited

Senior Project Manager/Consultant – Our own family run business, responsible for sales, marketing, installation, H&S and technical strategies of the business. Specialising in floor preparation and external wall insulation. Working directly with E-on, at times employing up to 90 sub-contract operatives.

2000 – 2008                   Henkel Loctite Adhesives Limited

Sector Controller/Division Manager Henkel Loctite Adhesives Limited is a Company within Henkel KGaA, Dusseldorf, the World’s largest adhesive manufacturer, I was responsible for a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) within the UK’s FMCG operation. Brands included Thomsit, Ceresit, Unibond.

1994 – 2000                   UZIN Adhesives Limited

Technical Manager/Director UZIN Adhesives Limited was the UK start-up business of UZIN UTZ AG, Germany, sales and distribution of flooring installation products. Assisting the setting up of the business and building a very successful business in the UK.

1978 – 1994         Flooring Contractor/Floor Preparation Specialist

Trainee, Sole-Trader trained as a resilient floorlayer and ceramic tile installer. Specialised in floor preparation, plastering, rendering and screeding.

City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Floor Preparation and Resilient Flooring Installation.

Registered “Skilled Worker” Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Blue Card holder.
